Fragments

Abstract

'Fragments' is a project that reflects on the human instinct to hold traces of lived experience. The works are inspired by objects and marks that might otherwise be overlooked; graffiti on old buildings, an old flight ticket we hold on to, a handwritten note from an old friend, a birthday card. They are expired, no longer relevant and yet we continue to carry them throughout our lives.

Though insignificant to others, these fragments are kept because they carry memory, emotion, and evidence of existence. They hold power. This exploration honors these subtle remnants, giving them a space to be recognized and cherished.
