About
Based in Copenhagen, Ariel is an artist with a background in interior design. She is currently undertaking an MA in Design at The Royal Danish Academy. As a designer, she learned how environments affect the way people feel - how a quiet room can calm the body and how color can tease the subconscious forward.
Ariel's art explores atmosphere, evoking an endless plane upon which gravity holds elements afloat, wandering on and off the canvas in a state of flow. At times the air evokes calm and tranquility through a careful use of blues and warm yellows - a reflection of the sky at dawn. Other times, wind is the protagonist that sets the world in motion through expressive marks and bold strokes.
