About
Based in Copenhagen, Ariel is an artist with a background in design. She is currently completing an MA at The Royal Danish Academy where she combines design, craft and artistic research into her practice.
Place and body is at the center of Rodriguez's work. Documenting a site through both an analytical and an experiential lens, the body, or observer, becomes an instrument with which to conduct the documentation process. In her work, site materials transform into insights, providing knowledge about a place, such as transforming plants into dye or allowing weather conditions to influence the outcome of the work.
